THE HOUSE

Sitting on ½ an acre of serene forest with an amazing south by southeast view of Plumper sound, Saturna Island, the American San Juan islands and the Washington coastal mountains, Pender Island House is a perfect retreat. The house has two bedrooms plus a large loft bedroom and sleeps six comfortably. French doors off the dining room lead to a screened in porch and from there to a private hot tub on the deck. Other amenities include a large wood burning fireplace in an open area plan, TV, DVD player, high speed Internet, BBQ, and fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher.

THE TWO PENDERS

Pender Island is one of the Southern Gulf Islands located along the Pacific Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Pender Island consists of two islands, North Pender and South Pender, which are separated by a narrow canal connected by a one-lane bridge. Pender Island lies between Vancouver, BC and Victoria BC. Pender Island is a 2-hour ferry ride from Vancouver and a 40-minute ferry ride from Sidney, BC.

We overlook Saturna island, the American San Juan islands and the Washington coastal mountains. Just pamper yourself, read a book or go for a walk!

GETTING TO THE PENDERS

Pender Island is located in the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada, a short ferry ride from either Vancouver or Victoria. Both cities have international airports just a short distance away from the ferry terminal. Ferry reservations are advised during the summer months. From Tswwassen (Vancouver) take the Southern Gulf Island Route and from Swartz Bay (Victoria) the Pender Island route. BC ferries schedule - https://www.bcferries.com/schedules

Enjoy all that the Penders have to offer. Almost 20% of the islands are National Parks. Kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, golfing, fishing, crabbing, disc golf, touring galleries, farmers market all things you can do on the Penders.

BC Ferries

BC ferries have 6 scheduled trips from Swartz Bay (Victoria) and 2 trips per day from Tswwassen (Vancouver). Book ahead as in summer months ferries are very busy. www.bcferries.com

Tidal Pools

Explore

There at lots of beach accesses on the Penders where you can find tidal pools full of life. Look for the beach access posts along roads.
